Contiene anche dei dataset di esempio ed altri software "standard" (Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat Application Server, Sun Java, PostgreSQL e PGAdmin).

Per usare Arramagong, ci ripetiamo, non è necessario che installiate alcunché. Fate ripartire il vosto pc con il DVD di Arramagong inserito e, non appena vi apparirà la prima finestra di dialogo, scegliete l'opzione "live". Se questa finestra non apparisse al riavvio del pc, è necessario che configuriate il BIOS del vostro computer affinché esegua l'avvio dal lettore CD-ROM. Se invece tutto procederà bene, si avvierà una versione live di Linux e potrete lanciare le applicazioni ed i servizi a partire dalle icone presenti sul desktop.

Alcune applicazioni richiederanno l'utilizzo di password: le troverete sul file passwords.txt presente nel desktop.

Alcuni di questi software sono installabili su Apple OSX e su Microsoft Windows. Questo Live DVD contiene anche gli installer per Macintosh Leopard/Snow Leopard e Windows XP/Vista, nelle cartelle "MacInstallers e "WindowsInstallers".
